Reasons for Requested Amount
Goal: 10 books per student (approx 600 students). Many of the books in our print collection are in bad shape or outdated.
Three new books per student per year will help combat this problem at a steady rate.

Educational videos and models that teachers use, and "A school library should acquire materials for leisure purposes such as popular novels, music, computer games, videocassettes, video laser disks, magazines and posters. These kinds of materials may be selected in cooperation with the students to ensure it reflects their interests and culture, without crossing reasonable limits of ethical standards."

Technical services, labeling, book repair, and cleaning products.
Paper, pencils, and other material costs can be decreased if we increase the technology budget and get kids typing.

We need more technology that kids can use. Computer programs that teach coding would be a great start in getting our students prepared for today's working world. Tablets with educational games would be appealing to kids, and they'll be learning at the same time.
